I began learning what it takes to make a business successful in high school when I worked for my father’s manufacturing company. I got to see things up close and personal and discover how everything worked-from process to financials to creating relationships with the customers. That started my love for business, especially manufacturing.

I’ve spent the last 25+ years learning and growing as a recruiter and consultant. I’ve walked through hundreds of different manufacturing and distribution facilities, getting to know almost every manufacturing process and understanding every need within an organization.

I understand how all those departments need to work together to make a company successful. Especially the importance of hiring the right people

That's where I come in. My key to success is my ability to ask probing questions, to really understand our clients and what is keeping them up at night. I take that information, develop strategies, and translate them into tactical action and solutions.

I like to say that I see around corners. I see the things others don’t-how pieces fit together, anticipate next steps, and where things will end up. How? I’ve been there and I’ve done that. I’ve been in the trenches. I’ve had a lot of different roles from high level corporate America to business sales and ultimately to what I’m doing today.

I landed my first post-college job at Amoco Oil where I was in HR. It was a great experience working with executives and management teams. Next stop, I was doing mergers and acquisitions, looking at them from the perspective of human capital and evaluating the benefits (and pitfalls) of existing teams.

That experience has really shaped my career. I have an ongoing deep interest in manufacturing and am fascinated by the people that produce these products.

Along the way, I’ve worked in crisis management, corporate strategy, sales, more negotiations, business development and executive leadership coaching. It’s that mix of experience and understanding I offer our clients at Propeller Talent..

Each client faces their own unique and often complex situations. I understand both the competitive and political challenges and can have those sometimes-difficult conversations, assess the information and figure out the strategy to get things done with creative problem-solving and collaboration

It’s my job to keep clients thinking on a global scale and help them hire the right executives and avoid bigger problems in the future.
